Graphic Engineer

Our Client, Nitro Games is looking for a Graphic Engineer to join the merry team in Kotka or Helsinki, Finland. We are offering a chance to be on the front lines of mobile game development and to join an established studio with over 10 years of experience.


Responsibilities
  • Work on the shaders, textures and 3D art pipeline
  • Manage asset import/export automation and high technical standards
  • Define technical asset quality and performance benchmarks
  • Get our games visual quality to state of the art level on high-end mobile devices and good in lower to mid-end devices
  • Collaborate with the team to build tools for artists, designers and developers

Requirements
  • 3+ years experience as a technical artist / shader programmer
  • Solid understanding of mobile platform render pipelines and technologies
  • Solid understanding and experience in shader development in Unity game engine for mobile titles either using Shader Graph or via shader programming using HLSL/CG)
  • Strong skills in shader programming via shader languages (HLSL/CG)
  • Understanding of Unity engine profiling, performance tuning and build size optimization for mobile games
  • Understanding of Git
  • Understanding of Xcode
  • Knowledge of 3D modelling and 2D tools is a plus
